Join the iWAT2017 team as a student volunteer (available for PhD students and Undergrads)!
Student Volunteers play an essential role in the success of a conference. Volunteers work along side the conference committee and management team to assist conference participants and ensure the conference runs smoothly. Volunteers will be selected on a first come, first served basis, need to be present during all the conference and the previous day of the starting day (arrangements can be made for specific requests of unavailability)
Jobs include:
- Monitor lecture sessions
- Monitor poster sessions
- Change signs
- Collect tickets / Check badges
- Assemble attendee kits
Volunteers will need to:
- always be professional
- have a pen when working
- wear volunteer shirts
- want to assist and network with students and professionals from all over the world
In return for your valuable service, volunteers receive:
- Access to the sessions and exhibition (with a copy of the conference leaflet, usb proceedings, bag, etc), the welcome reception the first day, the morning and afternoon refreshments and the luncheons
- ONE coauthored submitted paper registered
- Valuable experience for your resume and opportunities to meet professors and researchers from all over the world
Interested participants should send an email to chair (koulouridis at g.upatras.gr) stating their interest in becoming Student Volunteer along with a reference letter from their advisor (if they are PhD students) and their EDAS ID paper code (if they have submitted a paper). Email should be entitled "[iWAT2017] Student Volunteer Interest"
